In March I took a trip overseas with my family after a rough period, it was a good time. As happens in summer, time slowed down and stooped under the muggy heat of the day by the sea. Zanzare tells the sensations of that journey: the search for water and light as well as the face of those who do not let their thoughts leak out.

Alice Beltrami (b. 1997, Parma, Italy) is a Milan-based photographer who investigates reality by narrating the world around her. Co-founder of Ellisse Studio, a photographic and creative studio.
