The film is thus also a diary seen through the dream of an old man, but it is also an opportunity to trace a family tree and its underlying themes.
Giulia Savorani (b. 1988, Ivrea), studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera, documentary at the Civica Scuola di Cinema Luchino Visconti in Milan and Moving Images Art at the Iuav University of Venice. Giulia presented her films and installations during T-short Aniamted Film Festival, Experimental out-of-competition (Latvia 2021), Closing soon, contemporary art space (Athens, Greece 2020/21), International Short Film Festival Canton (China 2020), Short Movie Film Club Festival (Minsk Belarus, 2020), Green Ideal Biennale Technology Paratissima (Turin, Italy 2020), Biennale IKSV parallel events (Istanbul, Turkey 2019), Macro Asilo (Rome, Italy, 2019), 55th and 52nd Mostra Internazionale del Nuovo Cinema di Pesaro, Filmmaker Festival (Milan, Italy, 2016, 2018, 2019), Invideo 27ª International exhibition of video and cinema (Milan, Italy, 2017) . She participated in artistic residencies at Bains Connective (Brussels, Belgium 2014) and Re-framing home movies (Cagliari, Turin, Bergamo, 2017). Since 2019 she has collaborated as audio video operator for Zapruder Filmmakersgroup, she also works in pedagogy field and on animation projects such as the animated film for the exhibition The Glass Ark, animals in the Pierre Rosenberg collection, 2021 at Le stanze del Vetro, Fondazione Giorgio Cini, Venice.
