Marco Pagetto (1975) is an artist and photographer who lives and works in Liguria in Sestri Levante.
He is currently engaged in avant-garde artistic research using digitized photography as a form of communication.
“My art has an anticlassical matrix. It starts with executing photography and ends with digital postproduction. My artistic works are inspired by the theme of the Sea; the environment where I work and live. Node of different experiences my observation’s point has lost the classicity of vision, both for the digital process and the transfiguration of reality. The liquid sea assumes the colors of a new Surrealism that integrates space perceptions beyond the boundaries of classicity and the transfiguration of the image takes on magical, almost esoteric contours. The intention is to destabilize the normal perception of the sea and make it mysterious as much as its submersible contents.”
