Archaic creation myths, astronomical reminiscences, celestial drawings, chemicals for painting, are some of the elements used in the three chapters dedicated to Domestic Cosmogonies. Hypotheses on the origin are imagined through the construction of domestic sets, where small triggers give rise to reactions, presented as in a popular manual or a synthetic and partial breviary.
Hands used for improvised scientific experiments but exact in their principles, they practice short scenes immersed in the total black of a pre-cosmic void, filled with the amplified sounds of the processes underway.
Valerio Ambiveri (Bergamo, 1962) graduated in Painting at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, where he has been teaching since 1985.
In addition to exhibiting in galleries and traditional spaces, he believed in collaboration and exchange with other artists, founding independent exhibition spaces and organizing exhibitions in particular places in the cities.
He is interested in the interaction between video and body languages in connection with archetypal thought and the history of painting.
